An electromagnetic flowmeter is a volumetric instrument featuring an obstructionless design with no moving parts, making it ideal for conductive or water-based liquids. By applying a magnetic field to the metering tube, the device generates a potential difference (induced voltage) that is directly proportional to the fluid's flow velocity.
